Professor Position in Solid State Ionics

Kobe University is currently recruiting a project assistant professor in the field of Solid-State Ionics. The research program is based on Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) on Innovative Areas named gScience on Interfacial Ion Dynamics for Solid State Ionics Devicesh.
The successful candidate will study on the synthesis, characterization and the ionic conductive properties of lithium-ion/sodium-ion conductors with Prof. Masaki Matsui and his students.

Work Location: Kobe Hyogo JAPAN
Full Time (Non Tenured) The period of employment is until Sept, 30, 2021. The contract is yearly renewable until Mar. 31st 2024 based on the performance review.
The successful candidate for this position must have:
A PhD in materials science, chemistry, physics or chemical engineering, prior to the starting date.
Experience of experimental research in the field of Solid State ChemistryCSolid State IonicsCSolid State Physics or Electrochemistry.
The position requires collaborative research with scientists in the field of advanced spectroscopy and computational science.
